
Kenmore service of Sears

I was very disappointed in the service I received from Sears on my Kenmore electric dryer repair. They sent out a gentleman who spent maybe all of 10 minutes repairing the door of my Kenmore dryer and charged almost $200 to make the repair. I could have put the $200 toward a new dryer and been more satisfied. I called Sears to register a complaint and they simply ignored my request. They acted as if they had done me a huge favor. I wouldn't have been so surprised if they had given me some idea of what the cost would be before they made the repairs, so I could have decided whether to spend the money that way or go out and buy a new dryer. What bothered me most was the rudeness of the repairman and customer service when I called. I doubt I will purchase anything more from Sears, if I can help.
