Several years after having had new carpet installed I noticed a gap in the padding upon entering a spare room. When I contacted the dealer to have the situation corrected, they would only send a subcontracter to fix it. I had to pay $50.00. I complained to someone I believed to be top management and he also said nothing more could be done. Now after another 2 years, the carpet is buckling in several locations. I believe this to be improperly installed carpet and wonder whether or not this firm has had ongoing problems in this area. I believe it to be a franchise outfit and found nothing on the BBB site. I would like to sue them in small claims court but don't know if it would be worth my while.
