I am thoroughly disappointed with the way Jennifer Convertibles runs its business. I waited over a month for a couch ($2000), 2 weeks for a delivery date, waited ALL day for the delivery which was supposed to take place between 9-4, they arrived at 5:10pm and when I couldn't accept the delivery, they gave me a new date 3 weeks later. I called and in several phone calls (one where i was on hold for 20 minutes before hanging up) explained to various 'managers' the importance of my delivery arriving on time. Meanwhile, I had no couch (having trusted that they'd arrive on time as promised) and they offered no compensation for rental furniture or an earlier delivery date. I rescheduled the date for September 13th but proceeded to cancel the order entirely a few days after that. I went to Levitz, explained my story and they delivered a beautiful new couch at 9am 3 days later for a more reasonable price. September 13th rolls around and Jennifer Convertibles shows up at my apartment at 4:30pm!!! They never cancelled my order and were too late again (which proves I would've had to go through the same ordeal all over again and waste another day waiting at home for them). A 7 hour window, limited days of delivery, 3 week waits, no compensation (eventually they deducted $80 delivery fee but were reluctant) or special accommodation (Levitz wrote a note and they put me at the top of the list for that day's deliveries) for my situation leaves me frustrated and shocked at what incompetance is running this company!!! People should know not to go there and to find a better couch somewhere else!
