Lemon Jeep Liberty's **Bad Jeep** Bad Design** Bad Ball joint** In 2002 I leased a jeep liberty 4x4, it pulled to the right, steering wheel would vibrate, would stop dead in it tracks while in forward motion. All the interior weather stripping fell off, Paint peeled on whole Jeep. Damiler Chrylser said I was nuts everytime I took it too the dealers, finally they admitted & replaced the front ball joint at only 11,000 miles, car still pulled to the right and had very bad vibrations. Seat belts would not latch correctly, again car would stop dead in it tracks, on the highway or just going around town, pulled to the right so bad you would have to fight the wheel and it felt like the wheels were going to fall off! 'Foulke Management' the dealer which owns Atlantic Chrylser in Pleasantville NJ, Told me 'I was crazy and that how jeeps drive' Funny when I have owned good Jeeps and two bad Jeeps all my life. Again on these dates 6/7/02,1/7/03,1/10/03,2/13/04,8/05, any to many OTHER FAILURE dates to name. They have put new ball joints in.. now twice, Jeep stills pulls to the right, seat belts do not work, and paint peeled so the car looks like it is 20 years old. Iccing on the cake, brakes would only work, some of the time, Pad, rotors where good, intermitten failure of the master cyndiler, and No replacement parts, because they were part of a recall. It's funny how they tell you that your nuts,... and Daimler Chrysler Corp, always new about the bad design, and it not intill a death or accidents, or under the enforce of NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety) do they finaly take and due a recall. Funny when you have a bad car...It's all in your head...and a year to three years after you have they problem...now its a recall. Why must 485 people put their life into danger at the risk of being killed, before the dealership belives your complaint Or Chrysler does something about it. When it was a poor design to began with. Funny when the price of a new car cost around $ 25,000.00 dollars, or more and you cannot get a decent safe Jeep to Drive. Contact NHTSA 800-424-9393 or hit the web site www.nhtsa.dot.gov-recalls! Hey!.. they have not even sent the letters out yet for the latest recall on my car but in on the NHTSA web site already. Be informed....check out the recalls and Tech Bulletins on the web site before you buy. I will never buy or lease another Jeep and I was a loyal customers. When you play Russian Roulette with your customers lives I do not need you! I am still disable with the injuries I substain from the first 1995 Jeep Cherokee when I settled for the price of my Jeep...had I known that I would be having surgery every six months from 1995 forward...I would have never settled.
