Italian Meal Nightmare

Had the worst Italian meal ever tonight, on arriving at San Marco's at 18.00hrs (World cup fever) restaurant had only 2 patrons dining, asked if we could have a table for 2. We were told we could sit anywhere; we sat at the nearest table only to be told except that one. Not a good start, anyway we ordered a bottle of Frascati, it arrived warm with an ice bucket,( it should never have arrived at the table unless we could drink it immediately. The starters were exceptable but the main courses were burnt. we returned the meal and were offered not appologies for the food or compensation it was removed from the bill. We as British normally accept this but on fathers day with nobody eating out a little more attention to detail and service would have been greatfully reieved. If you ever go to Blackpool Don't go to San marco's (by the way No Italian music in the background, having to ask for a starter fork, and salad dressing we felt we had been let down very badly.
