An extremely popular girl at my school killed herself on thursday. We all came to school friday and were told the news in our 3rd period classes. 137 people went to the counselor for grief counseling all at one time. Others left school early to mourn. Coincidentally, thursday was the first day I finally felt comfortable going to school without something hiding the scars on my wrist. I swear to god all her friends who are in my classes were staring at me and thinking "It should have been you."

Their words have no meaning. The only words that are important are the words in your head. If you have not murdered any innocent people, or raped any children you are not a bad person and therefore have no reason to self hate. So don't. No matter how bad you think you are, very likely you are much better than you think. High school sucks, I know, I wanted to kill myself all throughout high school. I am glad I was too much of a coward to do so. That was over 30 years ago. for me life got WAY better after high school. In fact it got better with each passing decade. I know it is hard to believe from your perspective but it is true. Oh and if you are cutting yourself just because you like it not because you are trying to do yourself in that's ok too. Just sterilize your knife and learn some anatomy so you don't accidently hit an artery.

you shouldnt have to hide urself and those assholes shouldn't think or say that cause obviously she had some issues too... it's not your fault... she was prob raped or abused at home and killed herself for it... tell them people to Fuck off If anything you know her pain but you're not the reason for her pain
