Is this messing up my life

I'm not exactly ready to say my confession completely, but I did something when I was young and I don't know if it's affecting my life now. It was influenced by, telivision. My parents did not know. They still don't know and if they do they ignore it. I joined the church and the bible says that if I confess I believe in him, I am a new creature in him. But what I did in my younger years, is it gone or what.Should I confess this or not? You know what, just typing this, has made me realize that instead of telling the world, I will talk to God about it and see what I should do. Well, know that you should always talk to God first for your problems if you are a beliver.You go to him first to honor and respect him. Know this well. You also go to him so he can fix your problems, ALWAYS.
