Requested FMLA from job. I was told that I was entitled to 80 hours of sick leave for dependent care to care for a parent. After the 80 hours are exhausted, I could use other leave or LWOP. I have an abundance of sick leave. The office of personnel management website states 12 weeks of annual, leave or other leave can be used. I was not told by job that I could get 12 weeks of leave.
