why is the town of hempstead allowing the building department and all it's empoyees to prevent people from obtaining legal permits? why is that you have to payoff an inspector when he shows up to your job site? why is he then allowed to issue a stop work order? how is it that he is also allowed to then try and revoke permits granted by the same building department?
