I am 17 and I'm in love this a 37 year old senior physician. (He doesn't have wife or kids.) He's all I want in a man and he helps me a lot. I've never met a person who's so similar to me. But he is. He says he sees his younger self in me. He's helped me through my depression over the last couple of months - best advice I've ever been given. We're both enjoying each other and we're really happy. But no one knows - and that's the ways it will be in the future.

As long as he makes you happy and doesn't use his age/experience/prowess to manipulate you, I am not one to judge. At 17 you're definitely intelligent enough to make your own life decisions. I don't have any scientific basis to back this up or anything, but often girls with depression or other personality disorders like older men. They tend to be more on our level mentally.
