I'm an oaf to put it mildly.

First I must confess that I am a polyamorous lesbian... I have one primary partner, and 4 other girlfriends I have been dating. They all know and accept this, and each other. Two weeks ago I began hanging hanging out with a woman I met, thinking she was straight, and that there was no potential for anything more than friendship. We hung out nearly everyday with no hint that she may be gay. Then last night we were drunk, and she kissed me. Things went from there in the predictable direction. This morning when we woke up, she had this idea that we were truly involved romantically. I carefully tried to explain my choice of lifestyle to her gently but honestly. She didn't take the news well, and called me every name in the book, then seemed to make up a few new ones. It was not my intention to lead her on, or to hurt her. I feel terrible for the misunderstanding, her pain, and the loss of her friendship.
