my 8year old has had close to 25 surgeries to fix his stomach and through it all he has stayed strong and does not want the bag. a few more procedures and we will find out if his stomach will function normally. if it doesnt work i dont know if i could take the fact that he will be sad. i stayed up nights for the past 8 years and sometimes i think about blasting my brain with a bullets. but im being selfish and my love for him so strong that i want to know how much i hurt each time they cut him.

Medical science is always advancing. Even if this doesn't work, there may be something down the road. Keep strong! I'll keep him in my prayers.
