My best friend (A) is the strongest advocate of my relationship. My best friend is also male, and guy, and in love with my boyfriend (B). and we've both known for a long time. During the five month period where my boyfriend and I had broken up, I listened to my best friend spaz about him. Listened about how he loved the scent of the jackets he'd borrow from B for sometimes extended periods of time. When B and I got back together, he was upset, but within a few weeks we returned to our normal pattern of him constantly joking of stealing B or that I should give B to him like before I'd first broken up with B. That was fine. It's a combination of exam stress, not sleeping well, and worry about another dear friend of mine. But knowing that B let A take home the scarf I gave him for Christmas really pisses me off. It's petty, but knowing that A is most likely currently holding the scarf close to his face and taking in B's scent, a scarf that took me hours and hours to knit, does not bode well with me. If it were any other guy, I wouldn't mind. But knowing that B loves A, and that B has previous kept cast-away sleeve cut offs from A for their scent, makes me extremely uncomfortable. Bleh. I feel pathetic.
