I'm Losing Faith...

Too be honest, this is my first time. So, I might act like a retard trying to get something out here. (My confession is pretty stupid, average, don't waste your time....) My confession is that I'm losing faith in humanity and, what I'm scared of, God. Since the beginning of time, I was always taught about God and good morals/respect and yada yada. Losing faith in these were the unspeakable. I was a good girl, always was. Until I became older I just lost it. People cheating, killing, disrespecting others. It makes me sick. It made me so sick, that I wanted to put out awareness of respect and love. But I bet the moment those people will look at me, they'll put me off. They won't ever listen, unless I'm flawless. I always hear how bad someone is, but never the good. And the most sick part is how God is suppose to represent beginning of life, love/peace, & power, and these people make fun of this. They would rather believe rotting into blackness after death than life after. All of this is probably 3/5 of what bothers me. I....I don't know why, but all this hate and injustice picks at me like a blade and I feel like killing myself, and I'm only 15... I know where I'm at, I'll always be in this world I see. Forever. There are some good people out there, but....just not enough. I'm sorry for this stupid complaint. I just had to get it out before I explode!! :( Again, I'm sorry for being like that....I guess that I just believed in too much crap to feel like this is a confession.... >.

Thanks for your comment. Well, in my culture, it's different, I've experienced many things that most people haven't. But as I said, I believe God as more of a symbol of good things. So your 'I am being tested by god' statement, I like to think of it as...'I'm being tested by life'. I know you don't believe in god, you just said so. ^.^ If you don't wanna talk about that then fine, but the humanity these days are as much of an issue. Ttyl ~ :/

I'm an atheist and I just simply don't believe in the same things as you. You have to understand that some people like me will be against what you have to say. Some people will laugh, but we laugh at the ridiculous everyday. I am not one of those people. The only thing that makes me shake my head daily is the convenience of religion in general. If something good happens 'Thank god', If something bad happens 'I am being tested by god' or 'The devil did it'. It's like the ultimate answer to any question. I can't see living my life with a set of rules I don't believe in. MY own moral compass is enough.

Christianity can provide answers to your questions. It is easier and more tempting to behave in a selfish manner. It is the sinful nature of man. We are born that way, but Christ has overcome our sin. That's why he died to redeem us. He has prepared a place for us if you accept him. However, many will not. Many even hate that which is good. It is the sinful nature of man.
