So I went as a group for a week to a church camp. I met some AMAZING girls that I instantly became friends with. They introduced me to a guy friend. He's not my type at all. The next day though, every time we made contact I would get butterflies in my stomach. everything about him is just amazing. So when when one night we had a really deep sermon and everyone was crying and he came an gave me a hug and it was fantastic. The last three days we spent together we hung out at the beach with a group and finished camp and he kept giving me these wonderful fantastic hugs and we would talk together and we had inside jokes and I feel like he really understands me. we write notes to people at the camp for them to read on the ride home and he wrote me a long one saying how he would miss me and he said I was pretty. The only thing is that he has a girlfriend and I'm pretty sure he's in love with her. They've been dating for over 6 months. I text him and he was with her and he just sent me short answers back. I thought me and him really connected but I guess that's not how it worked out. We made plans to meet up again next year but if it's going to be this hard on me I don't know what to do. I've never felt this strongly about someone before but yeah it would be awkward if someone who knows me read this.

Sounds like an ass hole. I mean clearly he was flirting with you while he has a girlfriend so stay away from him you were just his girl at camp he wanted to play with and now that he is going back home you're nothing
