My parents kicked me out when I came out to them. That was well over a year ago. Now they are pleading for me to come home and begging my forgiveness. Well, I have told them repeatedly to fuck off, go to hell, etc.. So what if they're going to PFLAG meetings? So what if they've left their homophobic ways behind? Those two fuckers cannot take away the pain and tears and hurt they caused me when they threw me out. They can cry, beg, and plead all they want, but I will NEVER forgive them, and I will NEVER go home to them.

We all have choices and you seem to have made yours, of holding on to the absolutely wrong thing they did instead of focusing on the present and the fact that they are trying to make amends. No doubt what they did was absolutely wrong, even if they didn't understand kicking you out was just beyond extreme, but they can't turn back time and undo it. We all make mistakes but not everyone can admit and own their wrong doings and your parents are trying to that. But it's your choice to make and hopefully one you can live with. They just need from you what you needed from them back then and that is understanding.
