You cheated on me when we were engaged, turned into somebody else and treated me like shit so I left you. I burned that bridge so badly it could never be rebuilt but I remember who you used to be and I'm in love with him. I've tried dating and everything but no one could compare to the man you used to be.. I wear your dog tags and engagement ring when I sleep. You really broke my heart.

That sucks. You know, I firmly believe that when a person falls in love - I mean really, really in love, it never fully goes away. Even when we move on, somewhere inside us, there will always be a little part of that person. That being said, I also believe that the right person can help us make peace with that.
