About a year ago I decided to shoplift some candy and got caught I returned the candy but still feel guilty, I don't know why this has taken a huge toll on my life but I gave thought of suicide over this little thing, the guilt is eating me up inside and I just want it to go away!

you want to commit suicide because you stole candy? why dont you grow up? go make amends to the person or store you stole from, do something for someone else and forgive yourself. thats a really stupid reason to kill yourself.

you absolutely need to learn how to forgive yourself of your wrong doings. Forgiving yourself will probly be one of the thoughest things to learn to do. it takes a lot of brain training and positive thinking. I know this will sound dumb or whatever but positive self help books can really help you get a grip on how to re direct your thinking into a possitive way. you just have to be dedicated to do it. best of luck.
