i want more with my best friend

Hi im a guy who has a best female friend since many long years. We are the bestest friends and I appreciate what we have sooo much, and so does she. But i wish there was more..i wish we had sex. To me, this would add to what we already have..to me, we would still be bestest friends, only more than that. I've told her how i feel but she doesn't like it...she says she sees me as her sort of brother and cannot imagine having sex with me. What can I do? I mean, sure i am happy to continue as we are now, without the sex, but I feel we are sort of missing out on something more...our friendship could become so much more beautiful. am i egoistic thinking so? she has a boyfriend, but i don't have a girlfriend...maybe i should find someone...but i don't want anyone but her... (and yes ive been with girls and can of course be with other girls again, so I'm not too obsessed with my friend) is it wrong to keep these thoughts? we have argued several times about this but most of the time we are coping fine and we are such wonderful, close, good friends! we get along brilliantly..we joke, we go mad, we booze, party, tease each other etc... but still - to me it seems that we would become even closer and "better" if we also had sex... we would be more complete. and as i said, i will never forget that she is my friend. that is the most important always, with or without the sex. what can i do?
