I think a friend of mine has some issues with children

Not sure if this should be under Family or Something Strange so posted it here. My friend and his wife invited me and my 10 yo niece over for dinner with his family and friends. During the evening my niece ate too much sugar and was crawling over everyone and being a bother. I got her to calm down and she finally crawled on top of me on the couch and fell asleep spreading herself over me. My friend noticed and said, "There's a Class C Felony just waiting to happen." All of us looked at him weird and her started babbling something about being at a mall and when his friends daughter was young she was crawling and rubbing all over him and someone called the cops on him. His wife shuffled him out of the room and apologized for him drinking too much. When my niece stirred a bit and woke up we left. I looked up what a Class C felony was when I got home and couldn't believe anyone would say that or even know what it would be unless they were arrested for it in the past. I'm seriously concerned about what he said and thinking about not allowing him around the kids in my family. Am I over reacting?

Do not allow him near your niece! People don't censure what they say as much when they're drunk. Don't ever leave them alone for even just a second. Children are less likely to speak up and this can turn into something bad. Be careful.

Wow, am I the only one who read the whole thing and who has kids? The poster said that his niece just fell asleep on him and his friend made that weird comment. The friends wife apologized and said that his friend had the cops called on him for letting another kid rub all over him. That is not normal. If it were me I would not allow any of my kids around that house until I found out more about "my friend." As for the "holocaust" post that is uncalled for.
