I sleep with my brother.

I am a 14 year old guy. I have a brother who is 17. We have always been extremely close. We hang out together, share a room and depend on each other. I guess the odd thing is we have been sleeping together since i was about 3 years old. NO, we are not nor have we ever had sex or done anything like that. We literally just sleep in the same bed. When i was a little kid i would get scared at night and would crawl into bed with him and he would cuddle me. For us it has become the norm. At bed time we climb into bed, he takes me in his arms and we sleep. Since I was about 10 we have tried unsuccessfully to break this habit. My brother could handle it OK, but i was unable to fall asleep. Once, he was away on a school trip for 5 days and I tossed and turned and hardly slept. I worry about next year. He is a senior this year and will be attending college out of state. I am not sure I will ever get another good nights sleep after he leaves. In case you are wondering, our parents do know about our sleeping habits so It's not a secret. Any advice on how to handle this problem.

That's a tough one. I was in the same situation and had a difficult time sleeping when he wasn't there. He lightly snored and I think it was mostly his breathing that lulled me to sleep. Eventually, when we separated I got past it. You will too.

I do like when my brother holds me close, but what describe sounds like sex. We've never done anything sexual. We just sleep.

Wow. Wish I was your 17 year old bro, I would want to fall asleep firmly lodged deep inside you slowly and passionately do it till I explode deep inside you and just drift off to sleep still deep inside you holding you tight and close

i wouldnt worry about it. If you have been sleeping in his bed since you were 3 yo then it's just what you are use to. It will be a tough adjustment, but you will get use to him not being there. My advice, get a large pillow and pretend it's him.
