i should pay extra for my salad beetle?

just popped out to paul's patisserie to buy a salad, only to find after a few mouthfuls- a ladybird (yellow in colour) hiking up my tomato. took the salad back to the shop, asked for a refund; only to be told that 'having a bug in your sald mean it's fresh salad'!! no apology, no refund. 'not our policy'!! i mean, can poeple be any ruder??
