I hate lying and getting caught, it ruins everything. I remember a good friend of mine of 25 years asked me if Id ever seen the movie "Seven Years In Tibet" to which I replied "No". Sure enough minutes later, while scrolling through Netflix, Seven Years In Tibet showed up in my recently watched list and I was forced to come clean to him through a stream of guilty tears that I had seen Seven Years In Tibet. I never felt more ashamed of anything in my life. I begged for my best friend's forgiveness but he turned the other cheek on me for my dishonesty. We haven't spoken since, and I don't blame him. I'm to blame for my own actions.
