so I ran into this girl from back in the day. blonde hair, blue eyes, skinny and gorgeous. we had a small thing going on for a short time a few years ago. basically, we went our separate ways. long story...anyway, when I saw her, we spoke briefly. she couldn't believe it was me. you should have seen her face. she was so surprised and happy as was I. I offered to buy her a beer one day soon to catch up. she said sure and we exchanged numbers. now here's the problem: I've liked this girl for years and years. just never really worked out to where we were both single at the same time. today is no different. she has a boyfriend. I have a girlfriend who I live with. seeing her today made me realize what I was probably missing. I thought I loved the girl I'm with. I definitely care about her a lot and don't want to hurt her. but on the other hand I think I'd be better off if can even find someone LIKE the girl from before if not her herself. I hate to admit it but I feel myself drifting away from my current girl and wanting something...better. or different. is that wrong? and the fact that I can't keep this place afloat by myself doesn't help me much either. I can't just leave or have her leave. it wont work like that. but even for the past few years I've thought about the girl I saw. I've missed her. but I figured I'd move on. now I'm kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place. any advice?

she does. they've never met but when I ran into her she asked where I was staying. I told her and mentioned I live with my girlfriend.

I tried that before when I was seeing someone else and she was single. I told her how I felt and if she wanted to give it a shot, I'd make myself available. her response was something like "I don't want to be the reason you leave her. if it doesn't work out, we'll see." well it didn't work out. and by the time it didn't, she was seeing someone else.

Tell the girl from before how you really feel and if she feels the same way then go for it but if she feels different you have a girl waiting for you at home
