I Don't Really Like Things About My Friend

I have a friend that I have been close to in the past, but lately she really bugs me. She had cancer 20 years ago and it never returned. But she talks about it like it was yesterday and frankly I'm pretty fucking sick of her sob story. She wants endless sympathy and although I was very supportive of her for a long time---I'm suddenly sick of it and wish she would just shut the fuck up about it. She is a kind and generous friend, but the self pity is grating my nerves. SHUT THE FUCK UP. There, now I'll go back to listening and murmuring kind, supportive words when I really want to punch her in the fucking neck when she starts up. I am one fed up two faced bitch for just thinking this.
