I am scared of getting expelled, but I just want to quit.

My politics teacher just emailed me that a paper of mine violated the school's academic integrity policy, but I don't know how or why! Yes it was a hard paper to write, and I would not be surprised at all if I got some errors in there, but I didn't copy or paste anything! I confess to just wanting to quit college. Ever since I got here, it's just been one bad grade after another, slowly whittling down at my nerves. I thought I was a smart kid before all this in middle and high school, where I got B's and even A's. I know this is stupid, but I might even hurt myself if this hearing goes south, I'm just scared.

do you have copies of your drafts?? if so, you're in the clear. if not, make an appointment with the lecturer and ask them to explain which parts they think are in violation. for future papers, you can quote and take material from wherever you like (not the whole paper obviously, but a couple of lines here an there) as long as you include a reference list at the end of the paper.

What a stupid your school teacher's you are having. How can someone get expelled by not writing the paper well. Try to figure out the whole matter & talk with your parent before taking any action.
