H.S.C.B. mortgage

H.S.C.B. Holds the Title to our home and will not respond. We started a re-fi with the help of a GREAT company Paramount Equity. We got approved for the loan. We were at the funding point when out of blue H.S.C.B. showed up on our title. We purchased the home on a realestate contract from a local couple,(call them #2) who had completly paid off the person they bought it from.(call him #1) We even saw the pay off paperwork! No leans, tax problems, ect. Well, #1 died and we are guessing but his estate was picked up by H.S.C.B. Now H.S.C.B. showes up on our title and our re-fi is dead in water! You would think the underwriter just shows them the pay off paperwork and bingo, BUT H.S.C.B. only has a fax number for the correct dept! Well ok you say, just fax them, BUT NO! No RESPONCE! at all.Fax after Fax-Person after person-NO RESPONCE! I also E-mailed the mortgage dept. thinking someone would give it to the correct person, BUT NO RESPONCE! The reason we are so worried is we really need to re-fi ASAP. We are both fully disabled, and the home needs heat and it needs to be made easy to do every day things. To top things off, one of those Medicare Drug plans just cut off one of my important meds and now I will need to pay cash we do not have. The re-fi was going to give me time to find some other insurance.We are really in a fix and worried.I would sing H.S.C.B.BANK'S praises if they would just HELP!!!!! dancingcat@juno.com
