I purchased a HP Computer with extended warranty. You purchase the extended warranty with the security that if something goes wrong, it will be repaired without a hassle. WRONG!!!! The CD ROM quit working and I called. Yes, they did send someone out and replaced the CD player. No, the problem was not fixed. I was told that was all my warranty covered. Duh!!! I was told to order the CD RECOVERY set. I ordered the CD's and paid for them. This did not solve my problem because even with the CD's, my computer would not acknowledge the player. Do I look like I have stupid written on my head? I should after being taken by HP. I called HP only to be told that for additional money I could actually speak with a live tech on the phone. How sweet of them to offer that service. I should feel pleased that they want my money. Don't waste your time or money with extended warranty on HP products.
