Thanks a Lot for this one... However, there are some things I would like to say. As I see things going in my own country (Mex) I must really say I don't keep holding any hope on anything going better. Lame tv shows are controlled by goverment (it is more convenient to that minority keep all the people thinking poorly... Or not even thinking) and that crap is accepted for most of the population so it creates a kind of circle...honesty, I really think this is gonna be a never ending story till somebody or something weird or really bad happens. About us liking cheap stuff...(Oh God xD)... Well... What are we gonna do? We have lived like that for centuries and beer... Nah that's just another topic. Whatever, it is quite nice to hear at least some people saying we're funny... Dunno... It just make me feel good! :3

I like mexicans. I always feel friendly towards them, and I don't understand the hate. Sure some of them are thugs, but it is the same for all races.

As with all segments of the population, there are good ones and bad ones. It's probably not fair to cover everyone in a given group with one blanket statement, even if the statement is positive. I have known illegal and illegal immegrants alike. In my experience, most legal immegrants (from Mexico or otherwise) are truly trying to make better lives for themselves through hard work. Most of the illegal immegrants I've met are trying to do whatever is necessary to skate by and mooch off of our system. Honestly, I'm pretty sick and tired of hearing about how hard all the illegal immegrants are willing to work. If they were really hard-working and ambitious, they ought to pool their resources and try to help make their own country a little better. Anyway, most Mexicans I know are also generous with their resources (even though they are sometimes cheap and tend to repurpose other people's garbage in unique and sometimes disgusting ways). They tend to like crappy, tasteless beer. They often make great food and tell some of the funniest jokes I've ever heard. They're often dreamers who spend a lot of time thinking of how things could or should be. On the whole, they're no better or worse than everyone else. I'm not in love with the drug cartels. But I don't like KKK members, either, and that doesn't mean I hate white people. I can't stand hoods and black thugs, but that doesn't mean I hate African Americans. In the end, try not to worry about whether you're a good Mexican. Just be a good person, and everything else will take care of itself.
