How Come I am such a push over?

Why is it that I am a total push-over in every sense of the word? How do I allow myself to get paid less then minimum wage on my new 'salary' pay? I come in and do hours of terrific work and this is how my organization repays me? I would be making more money sitting doing nothing at some lousy student internship than working my ass of here. What the fuck.
