check this out. Jesus died around 33 ad. the 1st gospel, mark, wasnt wrote till after 70 ad (prolly much later) becuase mark mentions the distruction of the Jewish temple. the other 3 gospels Matthew, Luke, and John were clearly derived from mark. So what happened in the 4+ decade gap between the death of Jesus and marks gospel? most of what we know about this time comes from the apostle Paul also known as Saul of tarsus. Who says, Jesus Christ came to him in a vision. Paul says the lord told him to spead the word of jesus christ. He did. in fact, Paul wrote 80,000 words about the Christian religion. Which represent almost all we have of the history of christianity during this gap. but heres the thing, if Jesus was a human that had lived recently during Paul's time, nobody told him. Paul never heard of Mary, Joseph, Bethlehem, never heard about the miracles nor quotes anything that Jesus says. he dosent know any of what we would call the story of Jesus. But he does know about Christ being put on the cross, the resurrection and ascension. But even these events Paul never places on earth. Just like the other saviour gods of the time, pauls Christ Jesus died, rose, and ascended all in a mythical realm. "if Jesus had been on earth, he would not even have been a priest." - Hebrews 8:4 Paul doesn't even believe Jesus is a human being. And hes the link between the death and 1st gospel. When you assemble the facts, the story is, Jesus died, everyone forgot, and then they remembered. Heres something shakier. Allegorical literature was extremely common back then...
