Hotel to avoid

My family and I traveled to Nanaimo Canada for vacation. We arrived at the Howard Johson hotel in Nanaimo. It did not look like paradise, but we thought 'oh well maybe it is nice on the inside'. The room was okay, but the vagarants hanging out around the property were enough to make us want to leave. We did not want our RV broken into and our things stolen. If you travel to Nanaimo any time soon, avoid the Howard Johnson Hotel like the plague. I would suggest a dumpster behind a supermarket before staying there.....
