My best friend dated a boy our age for two years. They were in love and he was her puppy dog, following her everywhere, but she struggled with depression and the relationship struggled as an affect. Eventually, she broke up with him for another guy who made her feel more special and he was heart broken. She didn't allow him and I to be friends while they were dating because he had liked me previously, but I was there to comfort him during the break up. One day, while at his house, we were chilling as usual and ended up in a tickle fight. This guy is the nicest person ever and I love my friend, but now that I hear both sides, she never deserved him. The tickle fight ended in us hooking up, but I told my friend nothing happened and never would. The real bad part of it all is, I really want to do it again.

Do you really need her permission to date someone she dumped two years ago? If she gets upset or angry shes not much of a friend.
