The paintwork on my 3 year old Civic was peppered by stone chips (according to Honda) on wings,bonnet and doors and now my new Crz is showing the same faults, again they are stone chips according to Honda and even though first reported after 3 weeks ownership I was informed that Honda's paintwork guarantee does not cover stonechips. It seems that since they had to change to water based paint and different lacquer, to save the environment , that the paintwork is not durable to withstand normal road conditions,but Honda won't admit it. I am just a mere mortal trying to fight a multinational company and am getting nowhere. Any ideas other that driving it through a Honda showroom window?
