Document No----------- Departure date: --/09/06 Reference: ----- Total Paid for Holiday: 3140.00 I would like to point out that when i started to look at holidays with --Travel. I did say i was booking this holiday for my Husbands 50th Birthday as a SURPRISE, and i could not talk to you form Home. I asked that you contact me by my mobile or which ever location a was at the time. You did and i am happy with that. However someone has not carried out my request to keep it a SURPRISE ! You did say i would receive the confirmation in the post within ten days. Not a problem, it would be sent to ME at my home address. It wasn't it was sent to my husband - -----! A letter was addressed to him so he opened it and obviously read it. Can i also point out -----s Name is the Lead Passenger on the booking details? Why? How can this be when i did all the communication,made the booking and paid the bill with My card! I would like also inform you that on the back of the booking conditions it says 'We can only accept changes to the booking from the lead passenger'.- ----- not ME. J I am sorry to be so blunt but -- has ruined what was to be a special time for me and my husband. What i would like to know is: How it has happened! How is -- going to put things right regarding making my husbands birthday a special one what surprise do you have to offer in compensation? I await your response Regards K It has taken me all week to get hold of the person who sold me the Holiday he kept saying he would ring me back. i have done all the chasing .On Monday he said he was trying to get the cruise ship to give us a bottle of Champagne as compensation !!. Is this fare i ask! What do you think . Thursday rang again to ask what was happening to my complaint.fobed off again Friday today .after ringing again i actualy got to talk to a manager his offer is £145 in compensation.
