His family don't know we have children

My ex boyfriend and I have 2 children aged 3 and 1 and he has never told his family we have kids, he lives in London and i live in Manchester so our paths never cross. He sees both girls on a regular basis and provides for them. We split due to the distance but are still very much in love although we both no it wouldn't work we stay friends for the girls sake. However, he has never told his parents or family that I was pregnant or had children, we were together for 5 years, I see his family sometimes and they don't have a clue that we have kids. I have no desire for them to find out. We are quite contented. I just wanted to share my little confession. :)

Nope not married, his family know me, that I'm his girlfriendi just don't see them.

your ex boyfriend is a douch. why wouldn't he want his own parents to know their grandchildren? ? -dont you think they have a right to know them? something is not right with this situation. is there a possibility that he was married, while you two started seeing each other. . .

It was his decision not to tell them, I didn't know them until my eldest was 2, they live at the other end of the country, I assumed they knew until his sister added me on Facebook and asked "who are those 2 girls" about a photo, I quickly blocked her then asked him if they knew and he said they didn't and he didn't want them to. I just accepted it, I don't know them well enough to care. They are strangers I have heard about and vaguely seen.
