High School Sweetheart

It's been 23 years since my high school sweetheart and I dated. She and I were the perfect match, but I screwed up the relationship and lost her. I've been married for 20 years but still think about my old girlfriend constantly. She's married too. I've run into her a couple of times over the years, and the opportunities to catch up have arisen, but I'm afraid of what I might do - either screw up my marriage or embarrass myself. Nevertheless, I often think what it would have been like if things worked out the way I feel they should have, and sometimes think I'd drop everything I have with my wife and family just to be back with her again.
