I really hate high school sports, as the mother of two teenage boys who have been treated unfairly and unjustly in regards to high school sports. Its all about politics and who you know. Coaches who should be good role models whom truly care for there athletics, could care less and do not even have a spare moment to talk to a troubled teen. They tell the boys not to tell their parents as if there parents get involved then they will never make the team. Or they will be messed with by the other team mates for involving their parents. There is a reason that parents are still in thier lives, sometimes to protect them from these very people. Then is sets up a whole mess of trouble where its the school against the kid, instead of a working relationship between the school and home.
