High energy costs

SCE has been allowed by the PUC to about double their electric charges to California residents during the last year. At the same time their net profits before taxes have increased by 8.3% (from 1.27 billion to 1.375 billion). During the California energy crisis of the 90's, SCE made outrageous profits while charging the consumer excessively for electricity. They claimed that they had to pay Enron and the other energy companies for part of the electricity. Did California politicians do anything to get the California consumer some of the excesive charges? Absolutely nothing to date. Now they have been allowed by the PUC to increase the electric charges by close to 100%. Are there any attorneys willing to file a class action lawsuit against SCE?
