Heritage Web Solutions is a problem

If you're looking for any type of professional company to design your website this is NOT a company I would ever recommend working with. After reading other complaints about this company at various locations on the web I feel lucky to a certian extent that I got out early. My loss was a little over $224.00. It could have been much higher if I wasn't paying attention. However, I should have paid more attention and done a little more homework about how to choose a company to build a website. I've learned my lesson, took my loss of only $224 (plus $5.00 I get to pay for posting this serious complaint, walked away licking my wounds, and set out to tell the entire world about how horrible they are once they get your credit card number. Oh, you should know some of the highlights of their terms of service they won't tell you about until they have your credit card number. There is a no refund policy, they own your website, you must literally design the website on their form (what are you paying them to do?)before they will do anything, you must host the site with heritage (since they own your site you don't have much choice). I'm sure there are some lesser highlights but I am almost at the end of my allotted space. I did find someone else locally and they are doing fantastic work, keeping their commitments, and actually giving me my moneys worth. Bottom line: BUYER BEWARE and go get your site designed somewhere else. Learn from my mistake!!!
