Heartless Landlords

I am not a mean person. My fiance and I were displaced after Hurricane Rita. We found a little trailor and THOUGHT we were being treated fairly. The rent is 450.00/mo. The electricity was never disconnected before, during and after the hurricane. I spoke with the landlord regarding the situation, he told me he has battled with the electric company many times and there was nothing him nor I could do to get the electricity in my name due to the fact it was in the name of the previous resident and they could not be found. I finally contacted the electric company and got it turned on in my name, the first bill was 1247.00. They claim they did not charge us for the previous months since we moved into the trailor on January 6, 2006. Well, on 5/9/2006, my fiance was diagnosed with acute liver and kidney failure, he was also diagnosed with septis and E Coli. By the grace of God he survived. All the doctors told him he should have been dead. I have to take care of him 24/7. Therefore, I cannot go out and get a job. Our A/C keeps freezing up and the landlore will not fix it. My fiance had triple by-pass surgery in 2004 and has very high blood pressure. He cannot get overheated or his blood pressure will sky rocket. I just want the world to know what kind of sorry, heartless person this landlore is. I also believe he has been opening our mail and resealing it with tape! I cannot believe there are such evil people in this world. What really sets me off is he will fix a porch for a woman that lives across the street that he's having an affair with (of course he is a married man too), but he says an A/C is a luxury and will not fix it. I know it's because he's too dumb to. Thanks for reading my complaint.
