I broke up with my boyfriend because he was barley ever there for me but towards the end he was coming around and even said he loved me for the first time. He stopped talking to me for a few days after the breakup but then kept calling me because he wanted to get back together. I ended up saying no hoping he'd stay my friend and prove he really wanted to be with me. One day at school I met this really cool chick and we became friends instantly! She then told me she had been seeing this guy on and off since august and November and I was shocked when I found it it was my ex boyfriend she was taking about! He had been seeing her when we first got together. He then messaged me on fb asking why I wasn't talking to him and that he still wanted to be friends because he didn't want me out of his life for good. I told him I knew about the other girl and he just kept apologizing saying he didn't want to tell me because he didn't want to break my heart. He said it was only at the beginning but later left her because he started getting feelings for me and he knew I was the only one he wanted. He said so many sweet things and told me he loved me and she didn't mean anything to him. I was so heart broken especially since I knew he went back to her the day I broke up with him! I told him that and he said he only did that because he was upset and wanted to get me out of his head. He begged me to forgive him and said he knew I wouldn't take him back but he still wanted to remain friends because he loves me and he needs me. I said no to him..because I don't know if to believe him. What should I do?

my boyfriend cheated on my 5+ times. I would akways find out a few weeks/months after (except for the time that he told me) I kept forgiving him and taking him back bc he promised he'd never do it again, but he kept doing it. we are still together and it still haunts me, even though thr first time was almost 2 years ago.. I'm too attached to him to get away now, he's all I got. my advice is to get out while you can. Don't get stuck with a cjeater who obviously doesn't deserve you, you could do much better, I promise.
