hard to start/long cranking time

2006 Dodge CTD/ cummins turbo diesel. I bought three weeks ago and when I go to start it one out of 10 tries it cranks a long time before firing up. I have done it all by the books. So I looked into some dodge truck forums and yep. It is way to common. Same problem same answers. They (new owners) have all taken their truck back to dealer and get the same crap back. Not fixed and told DCX or Dodge is working on a fix. But nothing in months. It is disheartening to buy a new and exsensive ittem and have this no fix crap thrown in your face. Wow, I bought a new truck to be reliable/dependable. Well, won't rant on and on..... but WTF DCX? Fix it!!!
