Guardsman Furniture Protection is a Scam

Purchased an extended furniture contract from Guardsman (sold by JC Penney). Received no paperwork from Penney's or Guardsman. Filed claim for damage to furniture about 2 weeks after it occured as I spent 2 weeks tryin to find out how to file - then claim was denied as it was not filed within 5 days. This company is a scam. They have alot of unresolved BBB complaints. I should have done my homework before buying - I trusted a national retailer (Penney's) to sell honest stuff. What a scam.....
