I think I'm falling for my girlfriend's best friend. I've known both of them for a long time. I've always thought the friend was attractive, and it was never a secret. It never affected anything for years and years; can't help who you think is pretty, right? One day my girlfriend gave me a "pass" to, well, make a pass at her friend. We did, and afterwards, I developed some feelings for her friend. I can't stop thinking about her. I love my girlfriend, but these feelings are making me feel awkward and guilty. I've talked about it with my girlfriend, and we agreed it was a bad idea to make that call, but the feelings I have seem to be permanent. I doubt I'd ever actually date this girl, even if i was single (there's a backstory that involves many incompatibilities), but she occupies my fantasies now. Guys, when your girlfriend gives you a pass to sleep with someone you've fancied for a while, think twice about it - the aftermath isn't worth exploring your fantasy.
