GET A JOB or GET OUT!

A year after my husband was made redundant he still hasn't got another job. He is a highly skilled tradesman, but he seems reluctant to learn new skills. I always accept any work I can get, but I don't earn enough for both of us. We are in our 30's. He spends every evening with his mother, and although she is in shape and healthy, he uses caring for her as an excuse not to work. I've told him that if he doesn't get a job I will have the locks changed and he can GET OUT! He knows I can't afford a mortgage on my own but if push comes to shove I will have to rent again.
