I paid £26.75 for a package to get searches done on a site known as ' Electoralroll.co.uk ' based in the county of Kent , and particularly wanted death searches of certain females of my family line . I subscribed at the beginning of March and after several request and receiving no action or results by June I applied for a cash refund but the firm wangled out of this because in the interim awaiting some results from them I used the robot electoral Roll facility and and they used this as an excuse not to give a refund on what they never supplied and I applied for the refund a few times thereafter but they just ignored my request ..They used to put notices up on their web site stating that they will be closed for such and such a day or days and also the phone was out of order / not working properly etc..They know there is little we can do about the situation so take full advantage of immunity from prosecution .. They must have had / having hundreds of people on this trickery and making thousands of pounds for doing very little , if anything , as their site makes them appear very plausible/ genuine..so Genealogist beware ,,some of their packages was costing up to £90 but this highest price has been reduced lately to £70 approx..SO BEWARE of this firm in the U.K. based in Kent..
