Two representatives from Geek Squad spent approx. 4 hours in my office addressing some specific computer service tasks that I had requested. The day after they left, I got back on my computer and found some problems with a number of files and programs. Six hours later I had addressed these problems myself. One positive thing - I had downloaded all personal files to CD/DVD and deleted them from my computer before Geeks got involved. Another comment - there were two Geeks for the service visit. When I questioned this, the 'senior' Geek explained that I was only being charged for one Geek. The junior Geek was only there for training (so the senior Geek was actually charging me for 4 hours of his time to do both what I had requested AND to train the new fellow. Creative multi-tasking and multi-billing.
