gateway computers

I won't buy a gateway computer again. It is only 6 monthes old and they are trying to charge me 225 dollars to fix the cd/dvd drive that just quit working.I don't have 225 dollars to get it fixed. Their customer service is terrible. And they don't make things right. (Buyer beware) they may have their computers cheaper but I guess in this case it's what you pay for. They will be sending it back to me and won't be fixed, and now have to save up to get someone to fix it don't think thats right. I am on a old HP computer at least it's still working maybe slow but it works.
