game chairs defect

The base of my 4 game chairs has 5 legs each. On top of each leg is a piece of decorative wood that is not anchored to the metal bar coming off the base of the chair. Anytime anyone sits in the chair and rests their feet on the top of the leg..........it wobbles making an annoying sound. It's about to drive me nuts! Any ideas how to fix it? The guy at the furniture store told me to super glue it.
